Job description

We are seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to develop and support a sales pipeline for our Industrial team. In this role, you will be a critical member of our growing marketing organization, focusing on building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with sales, prospects, customers, and partners. You will be responsible for reaching out to prospects who have never worked with Boston Dynamics before.
As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales representatives for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our solutions in a compelling way.
Day To Day Activities
  • Reach out to new potential prospects via phone and email to set up meetings for Sales Managers
  • Arrange and present introductory calls to qualify opportunities and share background of Boston Dynamics with prospects
  • Schedule on-site demonstrations for Sales Managers
  • Partner with Sales Managers to identify and engage with strategic accounts within key industries
  • Facilitate introductory demonstrations when required
  • Maintain pipeline of prospects and maintain regular communication
  • Participate in customer-facing video and phone calls
  • Understand and be able to communicate the vision for Boston Dynamics robotics solutions

Preferences And Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3 years of sales experience selling into Industrial accounts
  • Proven track record of success cold calling
  • Technically savvy with demonstrated ability to learn and explain new technology
  • Thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Curious and able to understand a wide range of industry applications
  • Experience with Salesforce or alternative CRM platform is a plus

The base pay range for this position is between $78,000 to $83,000 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This range represents a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
