Job description

Augustine Consulting, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government.  We seek an experienced Life Cycle Logistics Management Policy Analyst to serve as part of ACI's Government Programs team, which supports PM Soldier Survivability (SSV).

Duties and Responsibilities:
A successful ACI Life Cycle Logistics Management Policy Analyst will perform the following functions:
  • Provide direct support to the Policy Chief and the broader Logistics Management Directorate (LMD).
  • Responsible for the detailed execution of policy-related tasks across all PM SSV programs.
  • Review acquisition logistics documents (LCSPs, fielding plans, etc.) for compliance, assist PdM teams in navigating policy requirements, and help to resolve issues with external government organizations.
  • Fill a key role in coordinating Functional Support Agreements (FSAs) with external agencies, tracking HQDA messages, and ensuring T2S planning is integrated into program strategies.
  • Monitor the status of MTOE and CTA publications to ensure they align with program fielding schedules and assist in preparing the annual DMWD "50/50" report.
  • Provide senior-level logistics expertise.
  • Integrate and plan for the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE) in all phases of the sustainment and acquisition processes.
  • Interface with ASAALT, AMC, LCMC, PEO Soldier, ATEC, AEC, CASCOM, MCOE, and other PEOs and PM on logistics requirements.
  • Assist in planning, developing, coordinating, defending and executing all aspects of the PMs' Life Cycle Logistics support under the processes of DoD acquisition and sustainment.
  • Produce acquisition logistics documentation in support of the PMs products.
  • Develop plans and projects, determine needs, investigate and resolve problems, interface with other functions and stakeholders, prepare capital assets and operating requests, and manage functional areas.
  • Assist in logistics automation using enterprise planning tools (GCSS-Army, ELMS, LMP, etc.) for acquisition and sustainment operations.
  • Direct the activities of a group of applicable stakeholders to conduct focused strategic planning and analysis for all life-cycle management functions.

A Policy Analyst/Life Cycle Logistics Management Analyst who fits our team is:
  • Dynamic: contributes energy and enthusiasm to our daily tasks, to the team's interactions, and to the Company's mission.
  • Thorough: possesses an unparalleled work ethic; produces complete, even polished products; persistent; mission-focused; asks "Why?" as often as necessary to get to the root of the matter.
  • Mature: respects others' opinions, beliefs, and culture; listens to ideas, shares thoughts, and works independently and together to contribute insights to the company's leaders.
  • Forthright: speaks with conviction; argues based on understanding, respectfully.
  • Inquisitive: seeks deeper explanations of how systems work, not the surface-level description of the actors involved; goes beyond "stick-fetching" to connect the unconnected.
  • Timely: shows up, ready to think, prepared to get on with the day's assignments; contributes analytical insights that meet time-sensitive, reasonable requests.
  • Honest: knows what's right, what's legal, what's appropriate; acts accordingly.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Due to the nature of this work the candidate must have or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of War (DOW) Secret security clearance.
  • High school diploma and 14 years of relevant experience, or
  • Associates degree and 12 years of relevant experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree in an un-related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or
