Key job responsibilities
- Driving and developing departmental continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation.
- Operation of environmental test chambers (Thermal cycling, vacuum, HALT/HASS.) Lead process work and review output for quality and adherence to standards and procedures
- Assemble tooling and assist with equipment maintenance.
- Lead daily team meeting facilitation, end-of-shift reporting, and coordinating efforts to minimize production interruptions.
- Support new-hire training programs within your department and contribute to development and modification of training programs. You develop training plans for your team and are responsible for implementing training programs within your department.
- Drive safety standards and operations protocol while ensuring team compliance.
Additional Requirements:
- 4/10s Shift: Wed-Sat 5 am - 3:30 pm
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Willing to move between locations depending on program needs
- Able to lift up to 25lbs

The Lead Space Simulation Technician will identify process improvements to improve build efficiency. You will work closely with multiple engineering teams on both early hardware development testing and setting the stage for later production hardware manufacturing processes. The successful candidate thrives in a fast paced, start-up like environment and is able to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills and commitment to quality to positively impact team metrics and organization goals
