This role is essential to the success of the kitchen, contributing to both guest satisfaction and team efficiency.ย Weโ€™re looking for dependable, team-oriented individuals who take pride in their work, maintain strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain stations according to restaurant guidelines.
  • Prepare all food items accurately, safely, and efficiently.
  • Restock all necessary items throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of the kitchen, coolers, and storage areas.
  • Follow all Spinatoโ€™s recipes, specifications, and policies.
  • Support teammates and assist where needed to ensure smooth service

Station Roles:

Salad:

  • Plate and sell all tickets on the salad line.
  • Demonstrate correct knowledge of ticket priorities.
  • Know when to sell tickets without being prompted by expo.
  • Prepare and plate all desserts.
  • Assist the sandwich station or prep area when salad station is slow.

Sandwich:

  • Plate and sell all tickets on the sandwich line.
  • Read and prioritize tickets accurately.
  • Take lead on firing all non-pizza tickets.
  • Assist the salad station or prep area when sandwich station is slow.

Float:

  • Move between salad and sandwich stations as needed.
  • Prioritize tasks and support the busiest station.
  • Assist other kitchen areas or dish when both stations are covered.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current Food Handler Certification (required).
  • Ability to lift up to/over 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable with exposure to heat, cold, and water.
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and work shifts up to 12 hours.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and consistency.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
