Job description

We have an immediate opening for a Technical Inside Sales Project Manager to join and strengthen our North American Engineering and Sales organization, located in Northern NJ.  We are looking for a sales-oriented individual with technical knowledge & experience in Sage Software, proficient in Excel and experienced with Project Management.  This individual will need to collaborate with our OEMs, distribution network, and outside sales representatives, as well as our inside Engineering and Sales staff, to provide pre- and post-sales technical information.
 
Our company is a world leader in manufacturing fuses for the global market from Electronic Range fuses to High Voltage AC and DC fuses.  Experience in the Electrical Power industry, with an understanding of circuit protection requirements a plus.  
 
Requirements/Responsibilities:
 
Bachelor of Degree, Business or Project Management, and Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management.
Experience in power electronics and power systems.
Hands-on individual, capable of offering proposals, commercial and technical assistance to Engineers and Representatives.
Attention to detail, with the ability to simplify complex issues, and relate technical explanations back to the commercial value of the product.
Dynamic personality with excellent interpersonal, supervisory, and presentation skills.  Must have stellar communication skills on multiple platforms, including verbal, written, face-to-face, and via telephone.

Experience managing direct sales and manufacturer’s reps.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing deadlines. 
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines and follow projects through to completion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project tracking software and management tools. 
Manage assigned sales personnel to achieve sales goals and volume.
         Contribute to the development of annual sales strategy and action plans.
  • Ability to conduct product, customer and market research.
  • Prepare and give technical presentation.
  • Analyze customers’ needs and propose technical solutions.
  • Must be willing to travel (light) within North America.
  • Well-rounded individual able to support our Field Sales force. 
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not a must.
