Command Missouri is seeking a Saddle Stitcher Operator to join our growing Bindery team!
Position Summary
The Saddle Stitcher Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining saddle stitch and folding equipment to ensure high-quality finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
A qualified Saddle Stitcher Operator will be able to:
  • Set up and operate equipment including:

    • Horizon SPF-20A with HOF-400 high-speed sheet feeder
    • MBO Z-6 knife folder attachment
    • MBO B30 Folder with continuous feeder (8-page and 16-page sections)
    • MBO B118 Folder with 4-plate right-angle section

  • Operate machinery efficiently to meet production and quality standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting as assigned
  • Score, perforate, and fold covers, letters, end sheets, and other materials
  • Read and interpret job tickets, labels, and special instructions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Support additional bindery or production tasks as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to read measurements in standard and metric units
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Understanding of bindery functions and procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written) to identify and report defects
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends based on production needs
