Job description

Role Overview

Strategic Marketing Leader is responsible for shaping and executing the Life Sciences vision, driving growth in digital products, and ensuring alignment with overall Life Sciences business objectives. This role leads cross-functional teams, develops innovative go-to-market strategies, and champions customer-centricity across the enterprise

What you will do

  • Strategy & Innovation
    • Partner with Digital and Divisional leadership to lead portfolio and product strategy for the Life Sciences digital business
    • Identify market trends and translate them to impact on customers and Ecolab, use this knowledge to inform product development roadmaps
    • Develop a deep understanding of customer base and competitors
    • Drive segment-specific innovation and renovation projects
    • Develop strategic roadmap for segment, Incubate and launch new business models (e.g., SaaS, IoT, digital platforms)
    • Identify portfolio gaps and initiate innovation opportunities, supporting Phase Gate development and project management from conception to launch
    • Manage pipeline process from ideation through commercialization
  • Market Analysis & Segmentation
    • Conduct research to identify potential customer groups and analyze data to understand customer needs and preferences
    • Develop strategies to divide customers into distinct segments based on common characteristics (e.g., industry, size, behavior)
    • Monitor market trends and adjust segmentation strategies as needed
  • Go to Market
    • Define and deliver life sciences software marketing strategies and campaigns
    • Develop and communicate value propositions and messaging guidelines, enabling successful demand generation campaigns
    • Collaborate on specific go-to-market tactics that achieve revenue goals

Position Details:

Hybrid Position location: King of Prussia, PA; St. Paul, MN; Naperville, IL

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degreein biology, chemical engineering, chemistry or related field
  • 8 years of professional experiencein Life Sciences, 4 years in life sciences software product marketing, SaaS preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical process development, quality and/or manufacturing workflows
  • No immigration sponsorship is available for this role at this time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well in a group as a solid team player
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and coordinate projects across different functional groups regionally
  • Solid business acumen

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $133,700.00 - $200,600.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
