Job description

The Pricing Manager will manage highly confidential data and work closely with cross functional department teams such as: Sales, Marketing, E-Comm, Finance, Master Data and Customer Service involving pricing. The pricing manager will be responsible for the price accuracy for 3 business units: TFH/Nylabone, Four Paws, IMS Trading LLC, and TDBBS.

This position is based out of our Monroe Township, NJ facility 5x a week.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
  • Improve sales process by streamlining price and discount approval process while balancing the need to maintain financial performance by analyzing historical pricing and discount data.
  • Setup, implement and maintain the pricing structures to remain accurate within the business ERP systems.
  • Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on pricing processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for the creation and verification of all master price file uploads.
  • Reconcile and correct any pricing discrepancies in ERP system.
  • Support any price increases for the organization. Work with sales, management and product managers to implement the price changes into the market.
  • Work with sales teams to establish deadlines for new/updated product line-item pricing setup responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service on item transitions, ISO’s, and new product launches to ensure pricing is available prior to po placement.
  • Partner with Customer Service management and EDI manager with price discrepancies on customer purchase orders compared to systems approved price.
  • Completion of customer by brand and pricing reports analysis and projects as required
  • Work effectively under daily/monthly deadlines and high- profile deliverables with minimal supervision.
  • Prepares financial summaries and pricing analyses which will be presented at various review meetings.
  • Support all SOX related activities both internal and external. This includes providing all requested documentation for an audit in a timely manner.
  • Above average math comprehension is needed due to the financial nature of the position.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Evaluate customer accessorial and contract terms to minimize risks and strengthen profitability.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office including advanced level Microsoft excel skills required.
  • Experience with complex financial modeling, strong mathematical and accounting skills.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to effectively articulate insights and recommend actions.
  • Experience in marketing and pricing for SaaS products including performing and interpreting quantitative research of pricing strategies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to dig into detail, manage complexity and drive decision making.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively across the entire organization.
