Job description

Business Development Representative

Remote-based position

About BookingsCloud

BookingsCloud is a pioneering SaaS marketing platform developed for professional vacation rental managers. We automate paid social campaigns using real-time property and market data. Our platform gives managers a way to reduce reliance on OTAs, maximize revenue, and prove ROI with transparency.

The Role

We're looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to be the front line of our growth team. You'll research and engage decision-makers, run creative outbound campaigns, and book qualified discovery calls that turn into opportunities which you are tasked with closing. Every conversation you start helps property managers build booking independence and compete head-to-head with OTAs like Airbnb and Vrbo. You'll be part of a team bringing enterprise-level automated marketing technology to an industry that's just hitting its digital growth phase.

This role is ideal for someone experienced in early-stage SaaS companies, who are looking for a sales career, hungry to learn, loves connecting with people, closing deals and wants to grow into an eventual Account Executive role.

What you'll do

  • Run outbound prospecting campaigns via phone, LinkedIn, email, and HubSpot.
  • Research and target professional vacation rental managers and executives.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and conferences.
  • Consistently meet activity goals, book qualified discovery calls, demos booked and deals won to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Partner with the team to ensure smooth handoffs to the client success team.
  • Log/track activity in HubSpot; share feedback on objections and messaging trends.
  • Help refine outreach messaging and playbooks for scale.
  • Share learnings to continually improve our prospecting engine.
  • Contribute to building a repeatable top-of-funnel playbook.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of BDR sales and prospecting experience (SaaS or AdTech a plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable cold calling and emailing.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and confident with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
  • Curiosity, persistence, and growth mindset.
  • You want to learn more about digital marketing.
  • Interest in how marketing, data, and technology transform industries.
  • Comfortable in an at times ambiguous setting with a hustle mentality (if you're a box checker, this role will not suit you well)

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with paid social (Meta Ads, Google Ads) or digital marketing concepts.
  • Experience prospecting and closing deals in hospitality, travel, or marketing technology.
  • Prior success closing deals in a rapid paced, SaaS sales environment
  • Already have or willing to obtain Meta and Google Analytics Certification

Location & Travel

  • Remote (U.S.), operating on CST/EST business hours.
  • Occasional travel (up to 25%) for conferences, team meetings, or industry events.

Why BookingsCloud

  • Sell a platform backed by one of the largest global private media companies.
  • Join a team shaping how vacation rental managers compete with OTAs and drive revenue.
  • Be part of an early-stage growth engine with career growth opportunities.
