Job description

SAS Financial Data Analyst

Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid 2 days/week in office)

Tax Type: W2 or C2C

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 8 yearsโ€™ experience in application support within a data, software development, or operations team.
  • Minimum 3 Years experience and strong competency in SAS (Both base SAS and Pro SQL)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server family of products or Oracle across supported versions.
  • Ability to write and review complex SQL DML and DDL.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and tuning queries and RDBMSs.
  • Should have advanced knowledge in data analysis, extensive expertise in full development cycle and be proficient in the use of SAS platforms and tools for profiling, automation, and data analysis.
  • Strong SAS and SQL skill with background in either Banking, Telecom or Pharma comfortable with building SAS automated validation processes and maintaining existing SAS processes.
  • Technical SAS and Pro SQL, Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Informatica, JIRA and
  • Soft Skills Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels within organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on enterprise infrastructure platforms such as Azure PaaS, Azure IaaS, Windows, or Linux servers.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery patterns and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Services, GitHub Actions).
  • Adeptness in automating tasks with SQL, PowerShell, Python, BASH, or other languages.
  • Experience working with large datasets, data warehousing, and sophisticated ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with data protection tools such as encryption and obfuscation.
  • Experience with SAS Enterprise Miner and Text Miner software
