1st shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:Responsible for supporting the ingestion, validation, and presentation of Data Lineage across Truist's Enterprise Lineage platforms. This includes coordinating with Business Data Stewards (BDS) & Technical/Data Platform teams to enable automated lineage capabilities, capture and integrate manual lineage, ensure completeness and accuracy, and support rootcause analysis to resolve lineage issues.
Additionally responsible for enabling and maintaining core Data Management capabilities related to Data Lineage-including lineage reviews, ongoing monitoring, and execution of lineagerelated controls. Also responsible for supporting the design and delivery of Data Lineage reporting and visualizations to support business use cases, regulatory requirements, and audit needs.AI

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Support the ingestion, validation, and presentation of Data Lineage across Truist's Enterprise Lineage platforms, ensuring lineage is accurate, complete, and aligned with enterprise standards.

  • Support the Product Management Function for Lineage Capabilities - partnering with platform team to define requirements, use cases, prioritization of improvements, and long-term product roadmap.

  • Coordinate across key stakeholder groups-including Business Data Stewards (BDS), Technical/Data Platform teams, and Enterprise Infrastructure partners-to enable automated lineage, integrate manual lineage, and support endtoend lineage capabilities.

  • Support the resolution of Data Lineage issues, including performing rootcause analysis, validating logic or mapping changes, and ensuring updates follow required governance and changecontrol processes.

  • Support the enablement & maintenance of Data Management capabilities related to Data Lineage, including formal lineage reviews, routine monitoring, control execution, and documentation of evidence to meet policy and audit expectations.

  • Develop and deliver Data Lineage reporting and visualizations to support business analysis, operational needs, regulatory scrutiny, and audit reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance policies, including lineage standards, metadata guidelines, and procedural requirements.

  • Support continuous improvement of lineage processes and tooling, identifying enhancements, streamlining workflows, and contributing to the overall maturity of the Data Lineage function.


QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in AI and data.

  • Knowledge of AI models, data architectures, and analytics methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business analytics, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of Data and Analytics including emerging trends

  • Understanding of banking operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Banking or financial services experience, especially in a particular niche area.

  • Advanced knowledge of one or more Data Lineage tools and metadata platforms, such as Collibra, Informatica EDC, MANTA, Solidatus, MHUB, or equivalent enterprise lineage technologies.

  • Handson experience with lineage visualization, reporting, and metadata analytics, including developing dashboards or visual artifacts to support audits, regulators, and business partners.

  • Ability to translate technical lineage concepts into businessfriendly language, including storytelling through visualization and documentation.

  • Proficiency with SQL, data modeling, and data flow analysis to interpret and validate endtoend data movement.

  • Ability to define & prioritize platform enhancements and incremental features & functions required to achieve lineage-related objectives.

The annual base salary for this position is $110,000-$140,000. Additional incentive pay is available for this position.
