Job description

We are looking for individuals who are experienced in basic building maintenance repairs as well as RV/ campgrounds maintenance. We are looking for individuals to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of property grounds at all times as well as provide top notch customer service to prospective & current guests and residents.

Responsibilities/Skills

  • Works closely with management to maintain a clean, safe, and appealing property. Follows Daily Maintenance schedules and follows all procedures as outlined.
  • Responsible for taking care of daily maintenance issues-exterior plumbing issues, safety issues etc.
  • Read and change out water meters as needed. Troubleshoot water leaks.
  • Maintain grounds and common areas.
  • Assist with site setups to ensure timely arrivals and departures of guests and residents.
  • Empty trash, shovel, perform maintenance or repair duties, use power equipment, drills or other hand tools.
  • Completes minor repairs to rental units and facilities as needed.
  • Completes routine maintenance and minor emergency repairs, plumbing, sewage, construction & street repair.
  • Inspects irrigation system regularly to ensure it is working properly, repairs as necessary.
  • Regularly treats for weeds, weed whips, rakes leaves, plants flowers/shrubs, spreads mulch/woodchips/stones, trims shrubs and hedges, cuts down and removes tree limbs damaged by adverse weather conditions, and performs other lawn care services when needed.
  • Ensures trash/debris is picked up daily from common areas and streets on a daily basis.
  • Provide daily upkeep of resort amenities.
  • Maintains vacant sites, including strap-downs & removal of trash and debris.
  • Ensures all resort streets and public access routes are free of hazards.
  • Maintains resort pool(s), tests chemical levels, and adjusts appropriately, where applicable.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ relative experience.
  • Proficient in use of equipment and tools.
  • Must be available for emergencies after hours and on weekends when needed.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
  • General knowledge of and broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work
  • General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, and grounds maintenance.
  • Ability to work well independently as well with others.
  • Availability to respond to resort needs during non-business hours while on-call.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
  • Must have proficient verbal communication skills.
