This is an exciting opportunity to be part of game day operations for Long Beach's professional baseball teams: the Long Beach Coast and the Long Beach Regulators. We're looking for energetic, dependable individuals who are passionate about creating an outstanding fan experience.
Position Overview
The Game Presentation Talent team is the heartbeat of the stadium atmosphere. This group is responsible for engaging fans, driving energy, and bringing the identities of the Long Beach Coast and Long Beach Regulators to life. Whether you are on the microphone, curating the soundtrack, or entertaining the crowds in-character, you will play a starring role in delivering a fun, welcoming, and memorable entertainment experience.
This is a highly visible, live-performance role that requires charisma, exceptional communication skills, improvisational abilities, and a team-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities - Depending on your specific role within the talent team, duties will include:
Stadium Host
  • Serve as the on-camera, on-field emcee for all inning-break promotions, contests, and fan interactions.
  • Deliver scripted and improvised reads with high energy and clarity to engage the crowd.
  • Work directly with the Stage Manager and contestants to ensure promotions run safely and smoothly.

PA Announcer
  • Serve as the official voice of the stadium, announcing batters, pitching changes, and game action accurately.
  • Read pre-game, in-game, and post-game PA scripts, including sponsor reads and safety announcements.
  • Maintain a professional, commanding, and energetic vocal presence that matches the flow of a baseball game.

Music Coordinator
  • Curate and play all in-stadium audio, including walk-up songs, situational music, sound effects, and crowd prompts.
  • Read the room to keep the energy high and engaging based on the current game situation.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with the PA Announcer and Stadium Host to ensure audio transitions are perfectly timed.

Mascot
  • Perform in costume as the official team mascot, engaging fans of all ages with non-verbal communication, physical comedy, and high energy.
  • Participate in on-field promotions, concourse meet-and-greets, and designated photo opportunities.
  • Maintain the condition of the costume and adhere to all safety and hydration protocols.

General Game Day Duties
  • Attend pre-game production meetings to review the run-of-show and script.
  • Collaborate with the production crew and operations staff to ensure a seamless fan experience.
  • Serve as a positive, approachable ambassador for the team brand at all times.

Qualifications
  • Exceptional public speaking, performance, or entertaining skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, improvisational environment.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and a genuine enthusiasm for interacting with fans.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand or perform for extended periods and work outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
  • Must be available for home games from May through September, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Attributes
  • Prior experience in live event hosting, radio/broadcasting, DJing, or mascot performance.
  • Deep understanding of baseball rules and the natural rhythm of the game.
  • Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and professional when live events require quick changes to the script.

Compensation Hourly Rate: This position is compensated at a flat rate of $125.00 per game, with any applicable overtime compensation paid in accordance with California wage and hour laws.
Schedule Requirements - Must be available for home games for both the Long Beach Coast and Long Beach Regulators, as well as select stadium events from May through September, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
