Job description

Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist for a Consultation-Liaison role with Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus. The C-L Psychiatrist will provide expert psychiatric care for patients with complex medical conditions to all primary care and specialty services as members of interdisciplinary teams by communicating and collaborating with medical and surgical colleagues to optimize patient care.

This is an opportunity to join our Psychiatry Emergency Screening Site (i.e. PESS Unit / Emergency Psychiatry) with cases performed at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus in Lakewood NJ right adjacent to the Jersey Shore beaches.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $315,000 to $475,000 per year. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Successful candidates must be:

  • ABPN board-certified or board-eligible in Adult Psychiatry
  • NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
  • High energy, adaptable, and able to work on a team
