Seasonal Advanced Park Worker III – Golf Operations

Job Summary: Seasonal Advanced Park Workers for Golf Operations are responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the golf course.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform all maintenance aspects of the golf course including mowing greens, tees, fairways and rough, raking and maintaining bunkers, upkeeping the club house grounds, and filling divots.
  • Water tee boxes, greens, and fairways as directed by your supervisor.
  • Apply fertilizer to the golf course.
  • Trasport lawnmowers to the fleet.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:­­­­­­­

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Possession of a valid United States Driver’s License, able to be maintained through employment.
  • At least 16 years of age at the time of application.

Preferred Qualifications:­­­­­­­

  • At least one (1) year of experience in Golf Course Maintenance or Parks Operation Maintenance.

 

NOTE:  This original application is open to permanent residents of the United States. Appointee must establish residency in the state of Wisconsin within six months of start date and maintain such residency during incumbency. In accordance with Section 11, Rule 3 of the Civil Service Rules a non-competitive examination will be held for this position. The non-competitive examination will consist of criteria deemed appropriate by the Director of Human Resources.
