Shop Associate

Location: Farmingdale, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour (based on experience)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Associate to join a busy rug-cleaning company in Farmingdale. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to learn a specialized trade. No rug-cleaning experience is required, but candidates should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the handling, moving, and preparation of rugs for cleaning
  • Help with deliveries and appointments as needed
  • Support technicians throughout the cleaning and restoration process
  • Vacuum, inspect, and package rugs
  • Load and unload rugs as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Assist with shop operations and general labor tasks
  • Follow company procedures and quality standards
Requirements
  • Previous warehouse, production, cleaning, or shop experience is a plus but not required
