Job description

Riley Power group, LLC is a full-service maintenance and capital construction services company headquartered in Rock Hill, SC. We work nationwide on some of the most challenging, exciting construction and maintenance projects in the industrial sector.  We are currently hiring a skilled Motor Operated Valve Analyst for multiple positions in the US. If you are a hardworking person who possesses the skills and ability to perform the job as outlined below, we would love to hear from you!  

Essential Functions of this position may include but are not limited to: 

  • Responsible for review of MOV diagnostic test data for assurance that the MOV will perform within specified design basis limits. 

  • Perform detailed analysis and diagnostic evaluation of Motor-Operated Valve (MOV) performance using test data, historical trends, and OEM specifications. 

  • Plan, execute, and document MOV testing and stroke timing activities during refueling outages, maintenance windows, and modifications. 

  • Interpret valve performance data to identify anomalies, degradation trends, or compliance deviations requiring corrective action. 

  • Utilize specialized software (e.g., VOTES, AMS, diagnostic tools) to capture and analyze dynamic MOV performance metrics. 

  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop valve test plans, repair scopes, and recommended settings or adjustments.

Qualification, education, and experience requirements: 

  • Individual demonstrating proficiency in the review and evaluation of AOV assembly performance.  

  • Successful completion of Basic and Advanced Analysis training.  

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 

Successful candidate must possess the willingness and ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to: Practical skills, other medical, psychological (if required by site), background and substance abuse screening(s). 

Physical Requirements 

Lifting objects weighing 50 pounds to waist height and transporting a distance of 10 feet.

Must be a citizen of the US, its possessions or territories, or lawful permanent resident as defined by USC 1101(a)(20), or protected individual as defined by USC 1324b(a)(3)
