We are expanding our Logistics team and seeking a motivated and technically skilled Specialist to join our team and support our continued growth. This role is based at our Concord, MA headquarters.


Brief Role Description:

The Asset Logistic Specialist supports the Logistics Department at NHC and performs a broad range of operational and technical duties related to all NHC provided equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Stock and maintain equipment inventory levels
  • Fulfill customer orders, including:
    • Configuring devices
    • Performing firmware upgrades
    • Troubleshooting hardware prior to shipment
  • Test returned equipment to determine eligibility for restocking
  • Conduct and support year-end physical inventory counts
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and asset tracking
  • Assist with on-call support as needed


Qualifications:

  • Technically inclined individuals with experience configuring IP routers and switches for integration with customer networks
  • Ability to configure file management systems for phones, routers, and switches
  • Experience maintaining inventory control systems by:
    • Tracking stock locations
    • Processing requests
    • Recording quantities received and distributed
  • Strong attention to detail when preparing high volumes of outgoing shipments
  • Experience with or ability to perform asset tracking and inventory lifecycle management
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment, including keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations orderly


Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
  • Occasionally lift and/or move objects exceeding 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to walk, stand, and handle packing/unpacking of equipment
