Job description

Essential Functions

  • Inspection of the part before, during, and after processing
  • Competently Operates all machinery and instruments necessary to safely perform the job function, including
    routine maintenance. Fork truck training for designated employees only.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Able to locate and understand relevant Quality system documentation in the Valence computer system.
  • Understand, and perform steps defined in the Valence ROUTER, follow Valence procedures on correctly filling out routers,
    corrections of input mistakes and notification of superior for all other router related problems.
  • Competently process parts with little or no supervision.
  • Practice behavior which avoids damage to parts and protects the part from damage.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read process traveler and fill out completed operations
  • Ability to perform simple cleaning operations
  • Ability to assist as a helper to trained operators
  • Able to follow verbal and written direction.
  • Able to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and clamps
  • Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work under direct supervision.
