Here are the details:
Position: Project Engineer- LNG focus
Location: Onsite 5x per week in Hopkinton, MA
Rate: Negotiable Based on Experience
Duration: 18+ month contact w/ possibility of extension
Position Description:
This role supports the project management group by performing design reviews, developing technical specifications, preparing technical documentation, and providing overall project support for LNG initiatives. These projects include feed gas pre-treatment, boil-off gas recompression, liquefaction, vaporization, electrical distribution, and instrumentation and controls.
The Project Engineer coordinates vendor document reviews, provides technical comments and markups, ensures compliance with project requirements, and confirms adherence to applicable codes and standards. Responsibilities also include supporting responses to submittals and RFIs, reviewing schedules, assessing change orders, and providing onsite construction support.
Required Skills:
    • 5+ years of experience supporting LNG, power, oil, or gas construction projects.
    • Solid understanding of thermodynamics, cryogenic processes, piping, instrumentation, controls, rotating equipment, and hazard identification. Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
    • Able to come onsite 5x/wk Hopkinton, MA & valid DL + personal vehicle to be able to travel between CT/MA sites (will have mileage reimbursement)
