PMO Rotational Program - Project Management Office

Role Overview

The PMO Rotational Program is a structured, multirotation development program designed to build wellrounded, executionready Project Managers through crossfunctional exposure and progressive responsibility. Participants rotate through core project management, outage planning, field services, and financial support roles to develop the technical, leadership, and business capabilities required for independent project leadership. The program supports Mitsubishi Power's longterm strategy by accelerating Project Manager readiness and strengthening the internal projectleader talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and progressively lead project execution activities under the guidance of Host Managers.
  • Apply Mitsubishi Power project management processes, standards, tools, and governance frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, cost forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Participate in outage planning, risk identification, mitigation planning, and progress tracking.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering, field services, finance, supply chain, and leadership.
  • Complete sequenced rotations across PMO and outagesupport functions over an approximate 24month period.
  • Support project, outage, field service, and financial analysis activities depending on rotation assignment.
  • Lead or contribute to at least one processimprovement initiative during the program.
  • Prepare and present rotation summaries, lessons learned, and progress updates to PMO leadership and oversight committees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated interest in project management, execution excellence, and leadership development.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to rotate across functions, locations, and field environments as required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Aptitude or willingness to learn project scheduling, cost management, and project controls tools.
  • Comfort using collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Preferred: prior experience supporting projects, outages, engineering, field services, or operations.
  • Preferred: exposure to scheduling tools, cost management, or project controls.
  • Preferred: PMP or equivalent certification.
