Job description

We are creating accelerated-growth Development programs for Engineering undergraduates who are looking to develop a long-term career plan. Our Development program is tailored for Mining, Mechanical & Metallurgical engineers who will be able to choose between two career paths: Operational Leadership and Technical Leadership.
About the role:
  • Rotational program to gain diverse experience in Supervision, Technical, and Maintenance activities on site.
  • Maintenance rotation - Will gain experience to supervise maintenance crews at the Pit, Concentrator, and SXEW facilities
  • Planner rotation - Will gain experience to execute Maintenance planning activities at the Pit, Concentrator, and SXEW facilities
  • Technical rotation - Will gain experience to lead their own engineering/construction project
  • Utilization of CAD Software
  • Collaboration with Project Managers for proper allocation and tracking of resources
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience Required: No previous experience is required
Education & Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • A desire to be a leader, always to do your best, focus on continual improvement, and ongoing career learning
  • Must have excellent computer skills with the ability to learn technical software
  • Familiarity with statistical process control, structural analysis, the strength of material, fluids, and pumps
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, teamwork, and setting ongoing goals
