Description
The Senior Technical Professional is responsible for the engineering and technical deliverables and activities on ongoing projects. Responsible for independently applying advanced techniques and analysis within the discipline/project.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned scope of work.
  • Formulating discipline specific parameters and assigning responsibilities to the correct subordinates and monitoring progress.
  • Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and relaying the information to the team.
  • Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and reporting on the status of deliverables and activities.
  • Cooperating, collaborating and communicating with the Project Manager and other project participants to create more efficient project methods.
  • Reviewing specific tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
  • Developing specifications as required for the project.
  • Ensuring compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Professional Engineering license preferred.
  • 10 or more years field and project planning experience.
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
  • The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Excellent project management and supervision skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.

  • Spends 80% of the time in an remote/office environment and 20% travel to client meetings.
  • Is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
