Reimagine What's Possible

We are seeking a Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our Americas Operations Machinery team. This role is a critical technical leadership position responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance support, and optimization of rotating machinery across our US facilities. You will lead troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and optimization of machinery assets spread across a handful of sites within the LaPorte and Baytown areas.

Our America's operations organization consists of ~300 gas plants including air separation, hydrogen, HyCO, and helium plants and serves ~23,000 customers The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in centrifugal, reciprocating, and screw compressors, steam and gas turbines, expanders, blowers, gearboxes, cooling towers, fin-fans, and a wide range of pumps, including cryogenic pumps. This position requires up to 30% travel to support our operations across the region. Although alternative Texas office and plant locations are available, the preferred office location is La Porte, TX.

Air Products pioneered the "on-site" concept of producing and selling industrial gases in 1940. That ground-breaking idea not only launched our company, it launched the industrial gas industry we know today. Since then, we have built a reputation for our innovative culture, operational excellence, and dedication to safety and the environment. Today, we are an established Fortune 500 company delivering some of the largest and most complex projects in the history of Air Products and are fully engaged in finding solutions to the world's environmental and sustainability challenges.

Do you have a passion for safety, solving unique challenges, and driving reliability and performance in complex machinery systems? Air Products seeks a Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes ownership of results, and is driven to make a meaningful impact on operational excellence. If this sounds like you, come grow with us as we continue to build a sustainable tomorrow together!
