Job description

Position Overview:

Blue Frog Roofing is seeking an experienced Roofing Superintendent to lead and manage roofing projects efficiently from start to finish. The Roofing Superintendent will be responsible for supervising all onsite roofing operations, ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in various roofing systems, and the ability to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to guarantee successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily roofing operations and provide on-site supervision to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers, crew members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and materials to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols in line with OSHA requirements.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during project execution promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and project records.
  • Train and mentor field crew members to enhance performance and professionalism.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Roofing Superintendent in commercial roofing.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and Metal Roofing.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and compliance.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with the ability to travel to multiple job sites.
  • Capable of working in outdoor and physically demanding environments.
