Roofing Advisor - Honest Abe Roofing

$70,000–$150,000 | Commission-Based | Paid Weekly | Company Vehicle
Who We Are

Honest Abe Roofing is a professionally operated franchise launching in southeast Michigan, working primarily between Dexter and Farmington Hills. Based out of Plymouth, we are building a new local operation backed by the proven systems and standards of the Honest Abe network. The person who joins us now helps establish the level of quality and professionalism our market will come to expect from us. We put roofs over the heads of families and do so with the highest level of integrity.
The Role

As a Roofing Advisor, you will run company-provided appointments with homeowners who have already expressed interest in roofing services. Your job is to assess their needs, present solutions, and close contracts. Your focus is entirely on converting qualified opportunities into signed agreements and delivering a customer experience that earns referrals and five-star reviews.
This is a high-earning commission role for a self-motivated professional who is hungry, organized, and takes pride in doing right by the customer.
What You'll Do

  • Run pre-set appointments with qualified homeowners
  • Supplement your pipeline through canvassing and door knocking activity — particularly during our early growth phase as we build market presence
  • Conduct thorough roof assessments using industry-leading measurement tools
  • Present tailored roofing solutions and guide homeowners through their financing options
  • Deliver compelling, consultative sales presentations and close contracts
  • Manage the customer relationship from signed contract through project completion
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity in our CRM
  • Attend daily morning meetings and stay current on products, pricing, and process
  • Obtain and maintain a Michigan Residential Builder Salesperson License — required by state law; we sponsor your application and cover all associated fees
What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record in consultative or in-home sales — roofing, home services, or big-ticket sales experience preferred
  • Comfortable both running pre-set appointments and generating your own opportunities through canvassing
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working entirely on commission
  • Exceptional communicator — professional, trustworthy, and persuasive
  • Comfortable presenting financing options and guiding homeowners through financial decisions
  • Smartphone and CRM proficient — you will use digital tools every day
  • Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
  • Currently licensed as a Michigan Residential Builder Salesperson, or committed to obtaining licensure — we will support you through the entire process
  • High school diploma or equivalent
What You Get

  • $70,000–$150,000 estimated first-year earnings based on performance
  • Aggressive commission schedule paid every week
  • Company vehicle provided
  • Two weeks of structured, paid training — including product knowledge, sales process, objection handling, and role play certification
  • Company-generated leads supplementing your own pipeline activity
  • Access to multiple customer financing platforms — a powerful closing tool
  • Paid time off and holidays provided
  • Professionally branded gear and equipment
  • Ground-floor opportunity with a franchise backed by 20 years of national operating history
  • Real advancement path as the business scales
This Role Is Not For You If:

  • You need a guaranteed salary to feel secure
  • You're only comfortable running pre-set appointments — this role requires you to build pipeline too
  • You're not comfortable being held accountable to a close rate
  • You cut corners with customers to get a signature
  • You're looking for a job, not a career
This franchise is independently owned and operated. Your application goes directly to the local franchisee. All hiring decisions are made by local management.
