Job description

Taylor Metal Products is a leading manufacturer of high-end steel roofing and siding products. We have been in business for over 30 years and continue to grow each year. We always hold true to our motto, Quality Products, Exceptional Service.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Roofing Estimator using the AppliCad Roof Wizard Software. The candidate will convert complex architectural drawings and site data into accurate 3D roof models, generating precise material and flashing lists to prepare high-quality customer estimates.

Essential Duties:

  • 3D Modeling: Utilize AppliCad Roof Wizard to create detailed 3D roof models from PDF blueprints, DWG files, or aerial images.  
  • Takeoffs: Conduct precise material takeoffs for metal panels, accessories, and underlayment to reduce waste and ensure accuracy.
  • Fabrication Modeling: Simulate the installation process in the software to generate accurate panel cutting lists and optimize material usage.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with sales teams, project managers, and clients to verify project details and clarify specifications.
