Job description

Job Purpose:

- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department at assigned Ron Marhofer Auto Family dealership. Write repair orders, provide cost estimates, coordinate with technicians, and deliver seamless, exceptional service from check-in to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and assess vehicle concerns.

- Write detailed repair orders and provide cost estimates.

- Review multi-point inspections and coordinate with technicians and parts.

- Provide proactive status updates to customers.

- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.

- Promote service specials and maintenance plans to enhance customer satisfaction.

- Ensure seamless communication between customers and the service department.

- Drive customer service initiatives and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Upsell maintenance services and manage high-volume service drives efficiently.

Required Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Preferred Education:

- Associate's degree in Automotive Technology, Business, or related field preferred.

Required Experience:

- Prior customer service experience required.

- Automotive service, retail, or hospitality background with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience:

- 1-2+ years of dealership service advisor experience with a proven record of driving CSI.

- Experience in upselling maintenance services and managing high-volume service drives.

Required Skills and Abilities:

- Strong communication, active listening, and customer service skills.

- Ability to write accurate repair orders and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to explain technical repairs clearly.

- Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

- Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds).

- Familiarity with manufacturer warranty processes.

- Knowledge of multi-point inspections and service upselling techniques.
