Job Title: Automotive B or C Technician (Service Tech)

Location: Akron, Ohio (Cuyahoga Falls area)

Pay Range: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive B or C Technician to join our fast-paced service department. In this role, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicle systems. Whether you are an experienced C-level tech looking to jump to the next level or a seasoned B-level pro, we provide the volume and support you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic & Repair: Perform high-quality automotive repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with speed and precision.

  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough multi-point "360 Inspections" to ensure guest safety and identify necessary maintenance.

  • Clear Communication: Work closely with Service Advisors and the Parts Department to provide accurate repair estimates and timelines.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed digital records of all work performed and recommended future services.

  • Quality Control: Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure the vehicle is operating at factory standards.

  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and federal regulations regarding shop safety and hazardous waste disposal.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience as an automotive technician (Dealership experience preferred but not required).

  • Tools: Must possess your own basic tools to perform daily tasks.

  • Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing engine, transmission, electrical, and braking systems.

  • Certifications: ASE certifications are a major plus (and we will help you get more!).

  • Requirements: A valid driverโ€™s license and a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Willingness to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, vibration, and chemicals typical of the industry.
