Position: Robotic Maintenance Technician
Location: Macedon, NY
Pay: $23-$30/hr. DOE
Schedule: M-Thurs 2:30pm - 1am

PRT Staffing is looking for a Robotic Maintenance Technician to join our clients' growing manufacturing team in Macedon, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to work with robotic systems, automated equipment, and cutting edge manufacturing technology in a fast paced production environment.

What You'll Do
As a Robotics Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving robotic systems and automated manufacturing equipment to keep production running efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities include:
• Troubleshoot robotic systems and automated equipment
• Make adjustments to robot programs, fixtures, and controls
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Replace defective components including sensors, controllers, encoders, servomotors, and circuit boards
• Install, program, and repair robot controllers, conveyors, and end of arm tooling
• Perform preventive maintenance on robotic and production equipment
• Maintain spare parts inventory including sensors, cables, and production supplies
• Read and interpret blueprints, machine manuals, and technical documentation
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble manufacturing equipment
• Inspect machinery and identify potential equipment issues before they become major problems
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain gears, bearings, shafts, and other machine components
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate service records
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations as needed
• Assist with other maintenance and facility projects as assigned

What We're Looking For
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of mechanical maintenance experience
• Willingness to learn and work with robotic systems
• Ability to read blueprints and equipment manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and industrial maintenance
• Welding, machining, and plumbing experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and production staff
• Must provide your own tools
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and climb throughout the workday
• Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment repair and maintenance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
• Ability to team lift items weighing more than 50 pounds
• Ability to work throughout a manufacturing and production environment
