PLC & Robotics Maintenance Technician – $45/HR + Per Diem
Locations: Lorain, OH OR Columbus, NE

Start: Immediate
Premier Staffing Solution is immediately hiring experienced PLC & Robotics Maintenance Technicians / Automation Technicians for travel assignments supporting high-volume automotive manufacturing facilities in Lorain, Ohio and Columbus, Nebraska.
These facilities manufacture stamped and welded automotive seat-frame components. We need hands-on technicians who can troubleshoot production equipment and get machines back online quickly.
What We're Looking For
Candidates should have recent industrial experience with:
- Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting
- Yaskawa robotic welders
- Stamp presses 200-1500 ton
- Robotic welding and automated production cells
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Motors, drives, sensors, relays and controls
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Stamping and welding equipment
- Preventive and corrective maintenance
- Reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC-controlled equipment
- Diagnose and recover Yaskawa robotic welding systems
- Troubleshoot automated manufacturing and robotic cells
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic failures
- Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, switches, relays and control systems
- Support stamping presses and robotic welding production equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and equipment manuals
- Follow LOTO and all plant safety requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of recent industrial maintenance, controls, mechatronics or automation experience preferred
- Hands-on PLC troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Allen-Bradley controls strongly preferred
- Robotic equipment troubleshooting experience
- Yaskawa robotic welding experience strongly preferred
- Automotive, metal stamping or robotic welding experience is a major plus
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license REQUIRED
- Must be willing to travel to Lorain, OH or Columbus, NE
- Must be available for overtime and flexible shifts
- Immediate availability strongly preferred
