Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Weekend Shifts

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. With two openings available on the weekend night shift (E Shift) from 5pm to 5am, Friday through Sunday, this role focuses on electromechanical troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will work from a preventive maintenance schedule and also respond to line calls and equipment breakdowns. This position involves inspecting equipment to ensure machinery runs smoothly and fixing or repairing any faulty equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electromechanical troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment.
  • Work from a preventive maintenance schedule while responding to line calls and equipment breakdowns.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and repair any faulty machinery.

Essential Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • 2-3 years of experience in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematics.
  • Experience with up to 480v electrical and electrical wiring.
  • Experience with systems, PLC troubleshooting, automation, and robotics (FANUC, ABB).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
  • 3+ years of experience or 2 years of schooling plus 1 year of experience.
  • Knowledge of mold presses and automotive parts manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with PLCs and robotics (FANUC/MOTOMAN).
  • 70% mechanical work versus 30% electrical work.

Work Environment

This role is set in a non-temperature controlled yet clean manufacturing environment. The facility specializes in manufacturing hood liners for automotive dashboards in the automotive industry.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
