The Opportunity

Nutanix is looking for a high energy Product Management professional with superior leadership, analytical and influencing skills to be part of our dynamic and growing team. This role of a Senior Product Manager will be responsible for advancing Nutanixโ€™s Prism management plane capabilities, specifically in the areas of infrastructure management. You will play a vital role in shaping and driving Infrastructure Management capabilities for compute, storage, clusters, hosts on data center and ROBO/edge scenarios. The goal is to meet the needs of our customers in managing infrastructure through our API, UX, policies, monitoring etc.

At Nutanix, you will be part of the Nutanix Product Management team, a group of professionals who are passionate about driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customers. The team is geographically dispersed but is closely knit, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where teamwork is valued and encouraged.
As for the work setup, Nutanix offers a hybrid model with the expectation to be in the office for 2-3 days a week to foster team collaboration and face-to-face interactions.
Travel requirements at Nutanix are as needed, depending on the nature of your role and projects you are working on. You may have the opportunity to travel to different office locations, attend industry events, providing you with valuable experiences and opportunities for professional growth.

Your Role

  • Help define and execute strategy and roadmap for Infrastructure (compute, storage, clusters, hosts) management for data center and ROBO/Edge
  • Regular outreach and synthesis of customer feedback into prioritized requirements
  • Write detailed market requirements and product requirement documents (PRDs)
  • Responsible for complete product delivery - coordinate with cross functional teams
  • Build and drive consensus/clarity
  • Track, manage, and report on KPIs
  • Motivate and influence, evangelize, provide customer advocacy and briefings
  • Provide ongoing field support as needed to drive high customer satisfaction
  • Author, build, and maintain compelling internal and external facing collateral
  • Provide exceptional product ownership from concept, launch, evangelize and support

What You Will Bring

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields. MBA is nice to have
  • Experience in cluster and storage infrastructure management
  • Experience in ROBO/edge is a big plus
  • Hands on experience with defining APIs, designing UX, policies and monitoring for infrastructure
  • 4+ years of product management experience
  • Attention to detail in executing complex projects with cross-functional dependencies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to present to C-level executives
  • Proven ability to influence geographically distributed teams and deliver on commitments
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • High energy and excellent teamwork skills
  • Have a bias for action and demonstrate ownership

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 124,800 and USD $ 249,600 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an โ€œat-will positionโ€ and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
