Good Samaritan Hospice,ย an entity of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, is seekingย Registered Nurses (RNs)ย to provide comprehensive end-of-life care and support to our patients and their families in their homes in the following areas:

  • Beaver County area
  • Moon Township/McKees Rocks/South Hills areas
  • Monroeville and surrounding areas
  • Harmar/Cheswick/New Kensington areas

We have both full and part timeย Registered Nurse Case Manager positions available.ย Schedule includes working one weekend a month and an on-call rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE REGISTERED NURSE CASE MANAGER POSITION:

  • Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Demonstrates excellent clinical skills
  • Solid computer and documentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Reliable independent means of transportation with a valid Pennsylvania driverโ€™s license

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE REGISTERED NURSE POSITION:

  • Assess and monitor the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our hospice patients and create individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about the disease process, care options, and end-of-life decisions.
  • Provide pain management and symptom control measures to alleviate discomfort and improve quality of life.
  • Advocate for our patients, ensuring their wishes and preferences are respected and honored.
