About Labor & Delivery at IU Health Arnett
IU Health Arnett Labor & Delivery consists of:
- 7 Labor & Delivery rooms
- 4 Triage/Antepartum beds
- 2 Obstetrical Operating Rooms
- 1 PACU bay
As a Level III Labor & Delivery unit, we care for a wide range of patients, including many high-risk pregnancies. The team is supported by:
- Dedicated CRNAs on-site 24/7
- OB Laborists on-site 24/7
- Scheduled Certified Nurse Midwives
- Highly collaborative partnerships with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
Our patients remain with us throughout their pregnancy-related hospitalization, including triage, labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery, allowing nurses to develop strong patient relationships while managing the full continuum of obstetrical care.

Qualifications
- Requires an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Requires graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
