Title: IT Technician

Department: IT

Reports To: Network Administrator

Working Hours & Location: Monday through Friday, full-time at our production facility in Mifflinburg, PA

Position Summary

The Production Technology Specialist supports production software, machine connectivity, and network infrastructure across facilities. This role partners with production, maintenance, IT, and vendors to ensure reliable system performance, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain production software (MILL VISION, ENVISION).
  • Manage updates, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors.
  • Maintain production networks, VLANs, and system security.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, and system performance issues.
  • Support CNC machines, HMIs, and industrial PCs.
  • Assist with new equipment setup and system integration.
  • Ensure reliable data flow and support production reporting.
  • Maintain documentation and train users on systems and best practices.
  • Collaborate across teams and support both facilities.
Minimum Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, OT, or industrial IT.
  • Experience with production or manufacturing software systems.
  • Understanding of industrial networking and system troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on industrial environment.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CNC equipment, HMIs, and industrial systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity in production environments.
