Compensation: $80,000to $100,000 annually
Overview
We are looking for a leader in Risk Management with a proven record in developing and leading Risk Management programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the company's enterprise risk management program across a multi-family housing portfolio.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational, financial, legal, safety, and compliance risks.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify, prioritize, and address organizational risks.
  • Oversee insurance programs, claims management, and litigation support to minimize financial exposure.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Fair Housing, OSHA, and company policies.
  • Lead risk assessments related to resident safety, property operations, vendor management, cybersecurity, and business continuity.
  • Analyze claims, incidents, and operational trends to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and risk management programs that support safe and compliant operations.
  • Collaborate with regional and onsite teams to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and risk awareness.
  • Oversee incident response, crisis management, and loss prevention initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Develop and deliver risk management and compliance training programs for corporate and onsite associates.
  • Monitor key risk metrics and provide regular reporting and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Lead and develop a team of risk management professionals, ensuring consistent execution of risk programs across all communities.
  • Support acquisitions, new developments, and major capital projects through risk assessments and due diligence reviews.
    Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Safety Management, Insurance, Property Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in risk management, claims administration, insurance, safety, compliance, property management, or a related field.
  • Experience in multifamily housing, real estate, hospitality, insurance, or a highly regulated operational environment preferred.
  • Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, OSHA standards, insurance claims processes, and risk management principles preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to various levels of leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, conduct site visits, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
