What are Rigging Assistants?

Rigging Assistants are professionals who support the setup, adjustment, and maintenance of rigging equipment used to lift, move, or secure objects, typically in industries like entertainment, construction, or shipping. They work under the supervision of riggers or rigging supervisors and are responsible for tasks such as preparing rigging gear, ensuring safety standards, and assisting with the assembly and disassembly of structures or equipment.
