Job description

Oakwell Private Wealth Management is a financial planning firm based in Austin, TX and we are seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team. Salary and Benefits

  • Base salary $60K-75K, plus quarterly bonus plan based on individual and firm performance metrics
  • Firm pays 75% of health care cost for employee
  • 401(k) with company match
  • 20 days of PTO and additional firm holidays

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to our partner Lou Boumaza, CFP
  • Manage calendar by protecting Lou's time and ensuring he is always in the right place
  • Provide administrative support by notetaking, inputting info into our CRM, and communicating with other team members
  • Manage email inbox with the goal of handling lower priority emails without oversight
  • Assist with projects in an administrative and data-gathering capacity
  • Delegate tasks to other team members as appropriate

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in an Executive Assistant role
  • Adept and skilled with technology and 3rd party software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and meet deadlines
  • Organization skills & attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and implement new technology and software quickly
  • Ability to communicate well and work in a collaborative environment

The Process

Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15- to 30-minute zoom interview conducted by our consultant (the hiring manager for this position). If there is ground to move forward, you will be asked to fill out a Career History Form and if you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm. Qualified candidates will be asked to take assessments.
