The Power and Controls Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Key Customer Accounts, supports Production Assurance & Program Health efforts across Electric Power Systems, Airframe & Environmental Controls, and Engine Control Systems. Production Assurance ensures the future success of key programs via proposal support, rate ramps, obsolescence, supply chain health, block changes, new product incorporation, risk management, execution of supply investments, capacity, and support of customer initiatives.
In this role, you'll bring your advanced/applied knowledge of proposal activities, customer negotiation support, material requirements planning (MRP) process, subcontract management and project management (to include program start up as well as execution).
You will apply your experience with Supply Chain, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You'll also develop and lead a material program strategy/plan for programs or integrated product teams and will participate in proposals by developing and leading supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates and participating in gate review preparation and/or support activities as well as assist with the generation of Supplier Statement of Works (SSOW).
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one's own job function as well as with parties external to the organization.
This individual can work a hybrid role at any Collins Aerospace U.S. location.
What You Will Do:
  • Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
  • Lead by influence in a matrixed organization
  • Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans
  • Customer Proposal support including generating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP's / RFQ's) as well as labor basis of estimates (BOEs)
  • Support supplier negotiations and PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives
  • Manage key KPI's & drive overall customer/platform health
  • Overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, support/evaluate the make/buy strategy, etc.), and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
  • Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers
  • Support MRP Scheduling and Master Data requests
  • Willingness to travel domestically/internationally, up to 20% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience
  • 7+ years experience in supply chain
  • 7+ years experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), SAP/Prism ERP systems, proposals, subcontracts and program metrics.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience in operations or program management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Cross functional experience with extensive knowledge in supply chain management
  • Advanced Supply Chain Planning tool experience (i.e. SAP/PRISM, Kinaxis, MFT, ROMS, etc.)
  • Experience with proposals or material estimating
  • MPM Level 4 (or higher) Certification

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
