Senior Contracts Manager (Active Security Clearance)
Location: Western Massachusetts
Our client is seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Contracts organization supporting a growing product line. This is a high-visibility role for a recognized contracts expert who will manage large, complex programs of strategic importance.
What You'll Do
Lead a team of contracts professionals, providing guidance and strategic direction across the full contract lifecycle - RFP review, risk assessment, proposal preparation, negotiation, and administration. Drive complex negotiation strategies to mitigate risk, resolve high-stakes contracting issues, and serve as the primary contracts point of contact, internally and externally,.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree + 9 years of Contracts, Subcontracts or Acquisitions experience, Graduate degree + 7 years, or 13 years in lieu of a degree
  • 6+ years working in the defense and space sector (or similar) with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR, CAS across varied contract types (CPFF, FFP, IDIQ, etc.)
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Ability to travel as needed

Nice to Have
Government and commercial negotiation experience (FAR Part 15), NCMA certification (CFCM/CPCM/CCCM), and a track record mentoring junior staff.
