Job description

We're looking for a Sales Manager to lead our SMB Account Executive team at a high-growth FinTech SaaS company with an exceptional culture and a product that prospects fall in love with immediately. You'll coach, you'll forecast, and you'll get in the deals — turning a talented group of sellers into a repeatable, quota-crushing machine.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of SMB Account Executives — running weekly call reviews and deal reviews that turn good reps into great ones, and coaching the team to consistent execution of the Stampli Sales Methodology.
  • Own the number. Deliver your team's monthly and quarterly bookings, and forecast your business with accuracy and discipline.
  • Get in the deals — coach reps through competitive and stalled opportunities, and drive the velocity, volume, and efficient qualification that a high-throughput SMB pipeline demands.
  • Champion AE outbound — build a culture of self-sourced pipeline, coaching reps to prospect, multi-thread, and generate their own top-of-funnel alongside inbound and SDR-sourced opportunities.
  • Drive pipeline health and CRM hygiene, holding the team to a clean, consistent sales process from open to close.
  • Champion AI-driven selling — using tools like Gong, Letter.AI, and generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT) to sharpen discovery, coaching, and every conversation your team has with a prospect.
  • Partner with SDR, RevOps, Enablement, and Product Marketing to close skill gaps and feed field intelligence back into the business.
  • Hire and ramp exceptional talent, and build the next generation of top performers on your team.

What You Will Bring:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of B2B SaaS/tech sales experience, with a proven track record of quota attainment as an Account Executive
  • Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring sellers — as a manager, team lead, or player-coach — with a genuine passion for developing people
  • Command of a structured, discovery-first sales methodology; you can teach it, not just do it
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting instincts, and comfort holding a team accountable to process and metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, confidence engaging and coaching to C-level executives
  • Experience in a high-velocity SMB sales environment, and selling into finance / the office of the CFO, or in FinTech, AP/AR, ERP, or procure-to-pay is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce, Gong, Letter.AI, 6sense, and modern sales engagement tooling is a plus
  • You have experience leveraging AI-driven tools (e.g., conversation intelligence like Gong, generative AI like Claude and ChatGPT) to drive efficiency and insight
  • You're agile, data-aware, and always asking: “What's a smarter way to do this?”

You Will Get:
  • The flexibility of working from our Austin, TX or Nashville, TN office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), with the option to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
  • Stock Options
  • Full medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) + employer match
  • Access to cutting-edge AI tools, including ChatGPT Enterprise, to enhance productivity, support innovation, and streamline daily workflows
  • Opportunities and development for career and personal growth
  • Strong and experienced leadership that supports your growth and success
  • An open-concept, modern workspace within an inclusive and dynamic scale-up culture
