Job Description:

The Senior Analystof Financial Operations is a highly interactive role within the OneOncology Finance Team, working with Practice Accounting, Operations, and Corporate FP&A. The Senior Analystof Financial Operations will work directly with practice leaders within the Oncology platform to budget, forecast, and understand business trends.


TheSenior Analystof Financial Operations will report toOneOncology'sDirector of Financial Operations.This role will fill a key role within the OneOncology Finance organization, responsible for a wide range of activities to include financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis. This person will serve as FP&A's modeling and system subject matter expert. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, critical thinking proficiency, and strong communication skills. The candidate must be customer centric and be able to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex entrepreneurial environment where ingenuity, rather than precedence, drives how things should be done.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for the Financial Operations team by:

    • Consolidating practice forecast inputs, loading to finance system, and validating accuracy

    • Providing monthly/quarterly reporting including variance analysis to Plan, KPI, and Reforecast

    • Working with key stakeholders improve processes and drive practice initiatives

    • Providing other analyses as requested and/or deemed appropriate

  • Assist with the development, implementation, and streamlining of standard processes within the department

  • Collaborate with the Operations team, Practice Accounting, and Corporate FP&A team to enhance financial reporting, including developing, validating, challenging, and explaining key financial trends, indicators, and performance

  • Develop enhanced reporting and self-service tools for the Financial Operations team as well as our business partners

  • Oversee and contribute to the development of flash and dashboard reports

  • Drive automation of financial and operational reporting processes

  • Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of academic and professional excellence

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting)

  • 2-5 years of professional experience

  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

  • Data mining and modeling capabilities

  • Very strong financial systems aptitude

  • Must be analytical, detail-oriented, organized, work independently with project management skills and problem-solving techniques

  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and other planning applications

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to achieve win-win scenarios

  • Workday Adaptive Planning experience a plus

  • Healthcare industry experience working with physician practices a plus

  • This is an office-based role in the Nashville headquarters of OneOncology
