Job Title
Returns Clerk

Job Overview
The Returns Clerk is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all Returns Process documentation. Records, researches and resolves return issues in cooperation with RCG Floor Researcher. Will maintain an open flow of communication between RCG, Returns Management, Delivery Management and other Operations Departments to address and resolve interdepartmental issues. Other responsibilities include:

  • Understand all Returns Dock process including but not limited to Checking, Dock Coordination, REF Inspect process and Material Handling standards.
  • Understand all Return to Vendor policies and standards
  • Complete Returns Administrative Duties including: Manifest Tracking, Consolidation of daily Returns/Depot issues on the Depot Report cards, Return to Vendor Process, Controlling Returns inventory locations throughout shift and Completing and consolidating Returns productivity research data.
  • Cooperate with RCG and RCG - Floor Researcher to identify, disposition and process mystery pieces as needed.
  • Support Return Department by performing other job positions (no material handling) as needed daily.
  • Assist Returns Management/ Returns-QC with reporting tool creation and maintenance as needed.
  • Communicate with Returns management staff to identify issues.
  • Recognize trends and patterns in Operations process and work with Returns Management/ Returns-QC to develop improvements.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands

  • Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
  • Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Sit, stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
  • Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 30%
