Position Overview

Rethink Mental Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dedicated team in a full-time remote role based out of Bellevue, Washington. This position offers an annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $105,000, reflecting the importance we place on the expertise and contributions of our mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of clients and families.
  • Lead consultation efforts with multidisciplinary teams to create robust pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Ensure timely completion of required documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, maintaining high-quality records that contribute to effective client care.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools and techniques to inform treatment methods and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with program teams to implement positive behavior support strategies aimed at enhancing client outcomes.
  • Actively engage in organizational licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that Rethink maintains compliance and high standards of care.
  • Serve as a liaison to community partners, state agencies, and service systems to facilitate resource sharing and enhancing client access to necessary services.
  • Foster strong relationships with various agencies and organizations to promote Rethink’s programs and explore potential alliances and funding opportunities.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development, participating in conferences and meetings relevant to mental health topics.
  • Promote and embody the organizational values and principles in all interactions, both internal and external.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the Clinic Director to support overall clinic operations and client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include a diverse population of adults and adolescents grappling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and developmental disorders. As an LMHC, you will provide culturally sensitive care tailored to the individual needs of clients from various backgrounds. You will work closely with clients and their families to develop supportive therapeutic relationships that foster transformation and healing.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling is required.
  • Possession of an Independent LMHC License approved by the state board in Washington.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain comprehensive clinical records and prepare detailed reports.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team setting, contributing to a broad range of treatment approaches.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas clearly and empathetically.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with prior experience in community mental health settings, familiarity with behavioral health treatment modalities, and proficiency in digital mental health platforms will be highly regarded.
