Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work onsite within our well-equipped rehabilitation center. Our facility boasts a modern design, providing comfortable spaces for both therapy and patients. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will engage with a diverse patient population in a collaborative atmosphere that values each team member's contribution. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to establish individualized treatment goals and plans.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs aimed at maximizing patient rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure that patients receive holistic treatment.
  • Adhere to the New Jersey State Practice Act, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Maintain a strong ethical foundation in your clinical practice, consistent with the APTA's professional Code of Ethics.
  • Document treatment processes and progress meticulously to support ongoing evaluation and adjustment of care plans.
  • Engage in continuous learning and apply findings to enhance treatment offerings and therapeutic techniques.
  • Participate in mentorship programs to guide new staff and drive collective excellence.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role at Rethink Counseling Center, you will primarily serve a diverse patient demographic including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, each with unique rehabilitation needs. You will use your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation to tailor treatment approaches that respect the individual challenges and goals of each patient, ultimately aiming for meaningful improvements in their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
