Position Overview

Rethink Counseling Center, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in South Amboy, New Jersey. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a supportive and encouraging rehabilitation environment. Our center prides itself on empowering our therapists and achieving outstanding clinical outcomes.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, which is designed to facilitate optimal recovery for our patients. Operating Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, the work environment is collegial and patient-focused. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapy technologies and tools, ensuring that our therapists can deliver the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients to assess physical capabilities and limitations while setting personalized treatment goals in collaboration with each individual.
  • Design and implement effective treatment programs that maximize patient outcomes, utilizing evidence-based practices and advanced therapeutic techniques.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and social workers, to coordinate care and resources for optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with the New Jersey State Practice Act and adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
  • Regularly document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure alignment with established goals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training initiatives within the organization to stay ahead of industry trends and developments.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and support a culture of professional growth to enhance team capabilities.
  • Engage actively with patients, ensuring they are informed and motivated throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic includes a broad range of individuals, from pediatric to geriatric patients, each presenting unique rehabilitation needs. Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is essential.

Compensation and Benefits
