Location: This field-based role enables associates to primarilyoperatein the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. The CarelonRx Account Manager II is responsible for retention and operational excellence that meets/exceeds client service and satisfaction goals for a complex book of business.

How you will make an impact:

  • Cultivates/builds relationships with broker/consultant/client key decision makers through quality service.
  • Influences and collaborates with internal partners to deliver best-in-class service including resolving operational issues, root cause analysis, and driving recovery efforts that directly influence account retention and growth.
  • Executes client-specific operational deliverables including benefit set up, reporting, and project support as needed.
  • Implements/manages contractual obligations including standard performance/operational guarantees and rebate strategies.
  • Leverages data to track account performance and identify trends/opportunities for input/recommendations on client growth and retention strategies.
  • Responsible for operational understanding of all Rx products and solutions.
  • Supports implementation for new/existing clients and contract renewals.
  • Trains/mentors lower-level Account Management staff.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in account management, sales, or managing business/client relationships; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary, travel 40-50% nation-wide
  • Client facing experience strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $81,752 to $122,628.
