Job description

Job Title: Account Manager, Commercial Landscape

Location: Canton, OH

Compensation:
Base salary ranging from $75-80k plus 2-5% commission on enhancement Sales, Take Home Vehicle, PTO to include Vacation and Holidays, 401k Match, IPad, Cell and Health Insurance.

Our client is a reputable Residential and Commercial Landscape company with extensive experience in the Canton Ohio market. They provide full service maintenance services to include mowing, irrigation, gardening along with design/build services.

They are looking for an Account Manager who can manage a $1m book of landscape maintenance accounts that consists of residential and commercial properties such as corporate HQ’s, Office, some HOA’s and a mixture of clients that value service and high quality.

The company boasts a client retention rate in the mid 90’s and they always looking at how to support their team members to provide a high level of service.

This position is customer facing and will need to manage the client relationship, quality control and be able to sell enhancements to unlock a properties potential.
This person will be the eyes and ears for the client to identify potential problems that need to be address when considering turf, plants and tree health. They will be responsible for presenting and selling solutions and working with the Operations Managers to make sure the property looks healthy and vibrant.  They will also be involved with snow services during the Winter.

This company has been in the local market for years, they retain their employees, have a very positive and team building atmosphere, utilize H2B Visas and operate on Aspire software.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Produce and maintain a schedule to perform “site audits” during formal meetings with customers to ensure quality and service expectations are met.
  • Lead and facilitate or assist in the resolution of customer problems or concerns.
  • Proactively present site enhancement ideas to existing customers.
  • Ability to coordinate designs for flowers and beds
  • Ensure the renewals of each current account within the customer portfolio.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to sell ancillary services.
  • Ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Develop accurate estimates and takeoffs for both new and existing clients as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with the Production Managers to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Manage service delivery to specified scope of work.
  • Maintaining acceptable gross margins for both base contract work and ancillary services.
  • Coordinate consistent and timely site visits.
