Landscape Maintenance Account Manager

Our client, a fast-growing Commercial Landscape Maintenance company serving the Sarasota, FL and Longboat Key area, is looking for a Landscape Maintenance Account Manager to join their team at their Sarasota Office. This is an exciting opportunity with a company that values long-term client relationships, high-quality service, and growth through enhancements. The role offers a competitive base salary, commission on ancillary enhancement sales and a company-provided vehicle.

Position Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled Landscape Maintenance Account Manager who can combine strong client relationship skills, operational knowledge, and consultative sales expertise. This individual will oversee a portfolio of accounts in the Sarasota and Long Boat Key area, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and enhancement sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Conduct property walk-throughs, site inspections, and regular client meetings. Build strong, trust-based relationships through proactive communication.
  • Operations Oversight: Coordinate and oversee maintenance crews, ensuring services meet client standards. Monitor landscape conditions, address service issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Enhancement & Ancillary Sales: Identify and propose landscape enhancements and ancillary services tailored to client needs. Drive revenue growth through consultative sales while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Client Retention & Account Growth: Focus on retention and satisfaction, with scheduled visits and consistent follow-up. Build loyalty through excellent service and long-term account management.
  • Administration & Reporting: Manage account budgets, prepare proposals, and maintain accurate records. Track client interactions, enhancement proposals, and retention metrics.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure crews follow company safety standards. Safely operate and maintain a company-provided vehicle for site visits.

Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, account management, or a related role. Strong organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills. Excellent communication and client service skills (verbal and written). Proven consultative sales ability with experience in upselling enhancements. Basic knowledge of budgeting, proposals, and account planning. Ability to travel daily to client sites in the Palm Beach County area. Valid driver's license with clean driving record (company vehicle provided). Bonus: Familiarity with landscape management software like Aspire, CRM tools, or industry certifications (e.g., CLP).
