Job description

Affinity Waste Solutions is seeking a relationship-focused Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to maintain and grow existing customer relationships throughout the Tampa market.
This role is responsible for customer retention, account growth, renewals, operational alignment, and expanding service opportunities within existing multifamily partnerships.
The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, organized, and skilled at building long-term relationships.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Conduct regular customer check-ins and property visits
  • Address service concerns and escalations proactively
  • Build strong long-term relationships with multifamily partners

Revenue Growth & Retention
  • Renew existing customer agreements
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities
  • Increase utilization of bulk removal services
  • Expand relationships within existing management groups
  • Support long-term account growth initiatives

Customer Success
  • Improve customer retention and satisfaction
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews
  • Reduce customer churn
  • Ensure operational excellence and service consistency

Internal Collaboration
  • Partner closely with operations and customer service teams
  • Communicate operational issues proactively
  • Ensure customer expectations are consistently met

Requirements
Qualifications
