Job Summary
The Merchandising and Retail Systems Specialist is responsible for the administration and governance of retail pricing, master product data, merchandising, promotional execution, vendor relationships, and retail technology systems across all Eagle Dining retail operations.
This position serves as the primary administrator for Jamix retail item records, Vendsys, Amazon JWO, CPOS, Infobate, and the Retail Operations Command Center, ensuring product information, pricing, inventory data, and promotions remain accurate, consistent, and synchronized across all retail locations.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the department's owner of retail master data governance across Jamix, Vendsys, Amazon JWO, CPOS, and future retail systems, ensuring product information, pricing, UPCs, tax status, vendor assignments, and categories remain accurate and synchronized
  • Manage retail pricing and product data by maintaining retail item records, creating and discontinuing stock cards, implementing approved price changes, reviewing vendor cost increases, conducting margin analysis, and recommending pricing strategies
  • Coordinate retail product lifecycle management by activating new products, removing discontinued items, maintaining the Retail Operations Command Center and Master Product Database, and collaborating with the POS/IT Manager to resolve pricing discrepancies and test system enhancements.
  • Oversee retail pricing execution and compliance by generating shelf tags, coordinating replacements, conducting pricing audits, and ensuring shelf prices align with POS and system pricing
  • Serve as the primary liaison with vendors regarding new products, discontinued items, pricing changes, promotions, product availability, vendor performance, rebate submissions, promotional allowances, and incentive programs
  • Coordinate retail merchandising and promotional initiatives by partnering with Marketing to implement seasonal campaigns, limited-time offers, product launches, merchandising standards, signage, and point-of-sale materials while communicating implementation plans to General Managers
  • Analyze retail performance by monitoring sales trends, product performance, margins, pricing effectiveness, and promotional results, and recommending improvements to product assortment and retail strategy
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation and reporting, including standard operating procedures, executive reports, dashboards, pricing analytics, rebate summaries, and key operational metrics
  • Support strategic retail operations and continuous improvement by assisting with annual retail planning, seasonal product transitions, technology implementations, store openings, and ongoing process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Hospitality, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field

Required Experience
  • Five (5) - Ten (10) years of experience in retail operations, merchandising, pricing administration, inventory management, or food service
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and retail/POS systems

Proposed Salary
$43,067 - $53,834
This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
