What you will do

We are seeking a results-driven Retail Account Executive (RAE) with the ability to support ULTA retail locations across the designated states; who thrives in a retail environment and has a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

The RAE is responsible for driving year-over-year sales growth across Kenvue's Beauty portfolio within a designated territory, supporting key brands including Exuviance®, Neutrogena®, Aveeno®, and OGX®. This role partners closely with ULTA retail locations to execute strategic sales initiatives, elevate brand visibility, strengthen retailer relationships, and deliver best-in-class customer experiences that drive business results. This field-based position requires a dedicated "road warrior" mindset, as the majority of time will be spent in the field engaging with retail teams, store leadership, and customers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Achieve targeted sales growth within designated stores while adhering to the budget set by RBE.

  • Territory Management: Develop an in-store visit call cycle that leverages sales data and executes targeted action plans to optimize territory coverage to achieve sales targets.

  • Store Team Engagement: In-store, the RAE will sell to shoppers side-by-side with store teams, demonstrating excellent consultative selling skills, training on new and core products, while building strong store team relationships to drive results.

  • Event Execution: Plan, organize, and execute impactful in-store events that drive sales and brand awareness.  Ensure optimal execution and store participation.

  • Shopper Consultation: Proactively engage shoppers, offering an exceptional consultation experience while demonstrating product use / application techniques to build a full skincare regimen and close sales. 

  • Sales Team Development: Recruit, coach, and develop a small team of freelancers to support select stores to achieve overall territory sales goals.

  • Training & Education: Conduct in-store training for store staff, focusing on sales through product knowledge, selling skills, and shopper engagement.

  • Operational Coordination: Maintain weekly communication with RBE regarding business opportunities, solutions, and stock concerns. Complete and submit post-support recaps and business reports in a timely manner.
     

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum of two years of retail sales experience in the beauty industry required, with experience recruiting and managing a team of freelancers.  Multi-unit specialty beauty retailer experience strongly preferred.

  • Proven leadership skills and a positive attitude with the ability to motivate retail partners to consistently deliver strong sales results.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work activities and adapt to retail business needs (weekends, holidays, etc.).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

  • Requires 80% travel (Weekly schedule: Tues. office day, Wed. – Sat. in store support)
